Upcoming Family Law Skills Clinic!
SKILLS CLINIC – Ex Parte Motions – March 15, 2024 – This month’s skills clinic will be back in the Snohomish County Skykomish Room (in the same building where you record documents; on the first floor – this is the large room closest to Pacific Avenue – where we had CLEs in the past), between Noon and 2:00 p.m. on March 15, 2024.
The subject will be Ex Parte Motions for Immediate Relief.
You will get the benefit from hearing from one of our Commissioners on this subject.
In addition, we will be covering:
The Statutory and Local Rules Governing Immediate Relief
Procedural Requirements (such as notice to other parties)
Principles – Expansion of the Temporary Orders Principles from last session to more accurately assess outcomes in Ex Parte
This is always a very intense, and high-stress area of the practice. The better prepared you are, the better you can serve clients.
You will receive 2 hours of CLE, as well as written materials.
As long as the facility can accommodate it, I’ll do a Zoom option and get that link circulated within the next week or so.
